AD Groups

Works fine so far - Thank you for your work.

But unfortunatly it only works with Sharepoint Groups and not with Active Directory Groups... Is there a way to change this?

you can try to add the AD group to SharePoint Group.

I do not have the necessary tools to recompile the source code.

To get AD support change the following.

(There maybe other places where this will need to be changed.)

Change "User";//"User,SPGroup"; to "User";//"User,SecGroup";

Change "SPGroup"; to "SecGroup";

\ContentTypePermission\ContentTypesRightSettingPart.cs(217):                peopleEditor2.SelectionSet = "SecGroup";
\FieldPermission\FieldRightSettingPart.cs(136):            peopleEditor.SelectionSet = "User";//"User,SecGroup";
\FieldPermission\FieldRightSettingPart.cs(147):            peopleEditor2.SelectionSet = "SecGroup";
\FieldPermission\FieldRightSettingPart.cs(186):            peopleEditor.SelectionSet = "User";//"User,SecGroup";
\FieldPermission\FieldRightSettingPart.cs(197):            peopleEditor2.SelectionSet = "SecGroup";
\ViewPermission\ViewRightsSettingPart.cs(107):           peopleEditor.SelectionSet = "User";//"User,SecGroup";
\ViewPermission\ViewRightsSettingPart.cs(117):           peopleEditor2.SelectionSet = "SecGroup";

Please add this feature.

Thank you

You can use VS2008  to edit the code.

your requirement is complex to implement.

not only to allow AD group section, but you have to write code to get AD groups of current user.

I think you can simply map the AD Group to SharePoint Group by hand.

this is the finally solution:

Just create a SharePoint group first and then add the ADD group to this sharepoint group.
