Visible, but doesn't work

description

Hello! I have such problem: After installation and activation of a feature I it see and even I can adjust permissions to fields, but no effect occurs, all as can edit all. Language - Russian, the version of the server 12.0.0.6421.
Whether it is necessary to use wsp_build.cmd, and if "yes" where can I take it?
Perhaps, I do something not so?

The problem has appeared in use of the changed forms in the Designer. With standard forms works perfectly. Thanks.

I am having the same issue. It is installed, activated and accessible. But when I set a field to not be viewable or editable, it still shows up and can be edited. The view restrictions work fine, just not the field permissions.

this solution can only support standard forms.

this solution can only support standard forms. so if you customized the form in SharePoint designer, the security control will lost.
and if you do test, please don't use the administrator account, because administrator always has permission to anything.

I have same issue with SharePoint 2007 and on our SharePoint 2010 as well
all forms are standard nothing has been modified
view permissions works fine, except the field permission it is configured fine, but no effect , neither the field view or edit ..

so :
views permissions : work fine
Fields permissions : can be configured and saved but does not take effect .

I found the issue...
in fact i found there was no issue, I was testing with site collection administrator account thats why i was able to see everything and it did not take effect

but when i switch a normal user account it was working perfect .

sorry guys for the confusion, hope this clarify the issue for others.
